We believe
The scriptures are the verbally inspired Word of God, so that we might know God and trust in Christ for our salvation. (II Timothy 3:16-17)
Jesus Christ was born from a virgin, had a holy sinless life, his atoning death and bodily resurrection and that he is the only Savior for our sins.(John 1:14, 3:16 Acts 4:12)
The Triune God is one God eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Salvation is a gift of God which can only be received by personal faith in Jesus Christ. (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9)
Purpose
That every believer would become mature in their faith.
Preaching
- We teach the Bible verse by verse so believers will know the truth of the Scriptures.
- We believe that the preaching of God’s Word is the highest form of worship.
Ephesians 4:11-13 Christ gave pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
Colossians 2:6-7 As you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
Worship
We are a traditional church as we sing hymns and choruses with a piano.
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
